Play is Healing

Play is Healing is a series of 8 outdoor park play dates hosted across Sheboygan County in partnership with community organizations. Each event is designed to bring children and families together in a relaxed, joyful setting — building connection, strengthening mental health supports, and making meaningful community resources more accessible.

Play is empowering. It boosts academic learning, reduces stress and anxiety, and builds essential skills like focus, coordination, and teamwork — all while having fun. Through guided play experiences, children naturally develop social-emotional skills and physical abilities, while families find community and belonging right in their own neighborhoods.
