Curious by Nature
Curious by Nature invites young children to explore the world through sensory play that celebrates their natural curiosity. Each session focuses on a different sensory system—touch, movement, sound, and more—encouraging children to investigate how their bodies and minds connect to the world around them. Through hands-on materials, open-ended discovery, and guided exploration, little learners develop confidence, focus, and an early sense of wonder.
Curious by Nature supports early learning through inquiry and sensory engagement, aligning with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. The program nurtures cognitive, physical, and emotional growth by fostering curiosity, creativity, and self-regulation. Rooted in the museum’s mission to spark discovery through play, Curious by Nature creates joyful opportunities for children and caregivers to explore how we make sense of our world—together.
